A nice older hotel with lovely staff and a great location for me, near the train station (as I was laying over between train journeys). The room had everything I needed and the neighbourhood was full of shops and restaurants.

Having frequented Ankara for regular trips, I've made the Ickale Hotel my go-to accommodation, and for good reason. The hotel's strategic location proves to be one of its strongest assets - nestled conveniently close to the city center, it offers easy access to major business districts and tourist attractions while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. The wellness facilities are truly the crown jewel of this establishment. The swimming pool is well-maintained and spacious enough for both leisure swimming and proper exercise. However, it's the authentic Turkish Hamam that sets this hotel apart from its competitors. The traditional bath house experience, combined with a modern sauna, provides an exceptional way to unwind after a busy day. The accommodations exceed expectations in terms of both space and comfort. The rooms are generously sized, offering ample space to work and relax. The sleeping experience is particularly noteworthy - the beds feature high-quality mattresses that strike an ideal balance between firmness and comfort. The thoughtful selection of pillows, varying in firmness and size, ensures a customized sleeping experience for every guest. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority, evident in every aspect of the hotel. The housekeeping staff maintains impeccable standards, from the spotless bathroom fixtures to the carefully pressed linens. The attention to detail extends to the regular sanitization of all surfaces and amenities.

We booked a suite for 4 people and It was really big, with 4 large beds and a huge bathroom. Moreover they changed the first room we were put into, with another identical, because there was a leak in the bathroom. The staff was very kind. We had dinner in the room, from the hotel restaurant, which was very good. There is a free spa for hotel customers with hot swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath, hammam, salt room and massages (these for a fee). There are also car wallet and a garage. The price is very good for all the services: definitely suggested!

It was my first ever trip to Ankara and this hotel was a great choice! Mostly we liked the staff - super nice and friendly guys at the reception, very caring cleaning lady at the floor and good people at the spa. We also liked breakfast, it had a big variety and was pretty healthy. Spa is calm and their working hours are great. Was going there every day. Although the pool is pretty short, I was able to make 3-4 km swims due to the fact there was no one else. The rooms were clean

Excellent hotel, very good and convenient location, friendly and efficient staff (especially at the reception - I forgot to ask the name of the manager, but would like to thank her for providing information and helping me with the luggage storage).

Location is near by main train station within 1km, Lots of shops and restaurants around hotel, main square is also within 20 min walk or by taxi 5 minutes, Hotel is an old property but well maintained, Room size was small but has balcony and window, although my room was having side street view which was not so useful for balcony, hotel has spa facility on ground floor although I have not used but offered services is in reasonable price, bar is added advantage on ground flour Bedding was comfortable and sheets were clean good option on pillow selection, towel was also good, toiletries provided by hotel was good. Hotel staff are welcoming and helpful, all the staff was good but specially front desk receptionist Sibel, she is fluent in English and makes us feel welcomed in hotel, staff like her an assets for hotel

The location of hotel Ickale was very good and in a bustling and busy town centre with the main city centre and attractions just a couple of minutes away . The hotel room itself was spacious and luxurious with high cleaning standards and decorated beautifully . The sauna and the indoor swimming pool was clean and perfect and surprisingly free of charge . Staff were very friendly as well and let us have a late check out too . Receptionist was very kind too

Good staff, exceptional breakfast buffet. In the room AC, towels, a balcony... The internet was generally good and I was able to work online, but sometimes choppy.
